I think that it is more to imagine “Commodity futures” when hearing the forward business.
It has dealings over the color [nna] commodity in futures and options as petroleum products such as gasoline, kerosene, crude oil, and light oil have been treated, precious metals such as money, silver, and platinum have been treated, the nonferrous metals such as aluminum has been treated, and farm products such as the soybean, coffee, and corn have been treated. Dealings are done to the changing thing like the crude oil price etc.In the forward business, there is a kind called not only the commodity futures previously enumerated but also financial futures, the claim futures, and the index futures. Only it changes to finance or the claim or basically the index the commodity and the transaction system is not changed.
A foreign currency and the interest rate, etc. are handled as a forward business , saying that “Financial futures”.
Not only the country but also the claim in foreign countries has been treated as a forward business , saying that “Claim forward business”.
This index is taken care of , saying that “Index forward business” though the thing of the index that shows how much the color [nna] thing changed is called an index. The index includes various indices like stock index, the consumer price index, the claim index, and commodity index, etc.
The difference of the futures price decided the futures price has been decided by the past time point in the point nowadays is adjusted though the commodity is not actually handed over in the forward business. This thing is called a making-up settlement. There are the possibility that the price of the making-up settlement grows, too there, and using this and many operating the property when the price fluctuation like the crude oil price etc. is intense. Recently, the forward business is dealings to which popularity has gone out of the thing that Internet transaction becomes possible.
